I used to have this problem too.

You need to use some really moisturizing shaving cream (no soap or shampoo or any other substitute!). You might want to try a man's brand, too, and see how it compares to a woman's.

Next you need a super sharp, new razor. I'd definitely recommend a man's razor for this too, as it will probably be sharper and last longer. Depending on the type of razor, you will need to dispose of it and get a new one fairly frequently.

And lastly, a trick that works well for me is shaving toward the end of my (hot) shower, after the water has had a chance to soften my skin and hair. I know that if I try to shave at any other time, I am more likely to irritate my skin.

    Hope that helps!

I actually shave and then pluck the rest of them (it doesn't hurt if you hold the base of the hair with your other hand). It works ok for me.

    Always just creme afterwards.

    HI Ms C
Sounds like you've got ingrowing hairs, chances are its right on the elastic of your panties as they come down to your crotch.
Personally I think so you should try to continue with the waxing, it does got easier.
However if that doesn't work you need to prevent the ingrounding hairs i suggest you try different panties (loose is best) like french knickers or boy shorts and loose clothes. Try this through the time from shave to itchy

    Exfoliate your shaved zone regularly

Shave down not up (down it you are standing) going against the grain tends to curve the hair in to the skin.

Yes hot water and anything to help the soften the hair will help.

    Good luck
