so about a weekend or two ago,my feet started feeling warm and then i started to feel like i had to go to the bathroom so i did but then i had to go again and again,i thought it was a urinary track infection because it did burn. (i did go to a lake so i thought that was definitely it) anyways i started taking Cystex which eases the pain and burning and also helps control the infection. it worked i took it for three days and then stopped because i was feeling better and for the next few days i was fine, then it started up again not the frequent urinating but the burning,so i took the pills again and it stopped. I went to the doctors to see what i had but since i took the pills that morning it could of effected the urine because she said it looked normal, she said she'd take it to the lab and everything, and i am now waiting for my results. i have been having a little bit of discharge so now I'm wondering if it might be a yeast infection. This morning the frequent peeing started to occur again! This time i couldn't stop and i just kept going and going, my urine was a little yellow but as i kept peeing it was just clear and then i had to go again and this time clear urine and this blue stuff came out,it almost looked like little blue chunks. i kinda got scared, but when i had to go again i went and it was just clear urine again no blue stuff. What could this be? What were the blue chunks,I'm very concerned about that. Thanks.
oh! and by the way,i know i am not pregnant.
i just had my period. oh and about the urinary tract infection, sometimes the urethra bleeds but when this started happening i couldn't tell if it was because i had my period at the time.

UTI's usually won't CAUSE you to produce more urine, though they do cause spasms in the bladder making you feel like you have to pee. The part that concerns me about this is the fact that you're actually peeing each time. WIth a UTI you FEEL like you need to go constantlly, but lots of times when you sit down to go, much to your surprise, nothing happens. In other words, you shouldn't be producing more urine than normal. I'm a little concerned about your blood sugar levels. Have you had any weight gain or loss? Been extra thirsty? Any other symptoms?

No idea on the "blue chunks" but I definitely think that if your labs come back normal, you need to seek other medical attention. This could be kidney related, pancreas related, etc.

    ahh okay,thank youu.
yeah, actually the frequent urinating stopped, after i sat down and just relaxed. :P
oh gosh! i hope not. i don't have any pains or aches anywhere on my body though.
my uncle is a nurse and he told me he never heard of the blue chunk thing,he told me it could just be from the medicine I'm taking.

drinking a lot of juice could be why you're able to actually pee everytime

Well that's good news (if a UTI can be good news!). Glad it's nothing more serious, though UTI's can be VERY serious if untreated. Get yourself on some antibiotics and get that bad boy taken care of.

Then, get yourself some Azo Cranberry tablets (walmart or any drug store) and take one every day. You couldn't drink enough cranberry juice in a day to get that much.

    -Azo Cranberry daily
    - Make sure when you need to pee, you pee, don't hold it for long periods of time. And while peeing, give yourself plenty of time to totally finish even when you think your bladder is empty. Some people have smaller urethra's (me!) and sometimes when I feel like i've emptied my bladder, if I sit there for a few seconds longer more will come out. That little bit that comes out at the end, was staying up in my bladder and causing me to have infections.
    - ALWAYS pee after sex and wash up
    - Encourage the BF to make sure he's clean prior to sex
    - Drink lots of water - drinking lots of caffiene is not a good thing for people prone to UTI's.

You prob already know all this, but I know how bad UTI's suck so I'm gonna share anyway.

    Hope you feel better soon!!!
