I've heard several men say that they don't like for their women to shave...I for some reason thought that it should be my decision and not my spouse's whether I shave or not, and how I like to take care of my hygiene...I don't think I could ever not shave all the hair off, because I like it that way it looks and feels better because I'm really hairy and the hair is kind of thick down there. It has several advantages over not shaving or just trimming...I also heard it was unhealthy and can cause infections.

I was just wondering, if I were to ever get married should that be a big issue? Should my husband make a big deal out of it? or Should I try and make him happy? Can shaving really increase infections?

I am pretty sure you know that it is only you that can do anything to your body. No one can make you shave if you do not want to. Shaving does not = infections. Bad hygiene is going to be more likely to cause an infection. And no your husband does not need to make a big deal out of it, if he says he likes it shaved then so be it. If he says he would sooner have you have some bushy jungle then so be it. It is still your body and your decision not his.

I agree with ItsASecret. It's all about hygiene. Keeping clean down there is the most important thing. I think some men say that they don't like for their women to shave is because the hair is prickly when it grows back, like when a guy shaves his beard and then has stubble afterwards.

In the end, it's really all about what you're comfortable with
Trying to get a hold of myself is really tough! But I'll keep trying.

Some guys like shaved, some guys like trimmed, some guys like natural and some guys find any style OK, just different. It is the woman's prerogative to style it as she likes.

Personally I like a woman shaved as it accentuates the feminine characteristics of her body. (when men and women both have big bushes, how can you tell which is which?) But, at the end of the day it's what you're comfortable with. If you're comfortable shaved then you'll find a lot of men will be delighted when they take their first look. But do what is for you. x

Thanx...I completely agree. That's why I shave, it shows the feminine parts of body and looks neater on me being a woman...I Love when men think like that...
