Default Sick while on my menstrual?

I have been going through this since I was 12 and I'm 18 now. That is way too long for me. When I get my monthly menstrual, like on the second day I get really sick and vomit a lot. I have really bad cramps too...After the second day of my menstrual with the vomitting and stuff, I'm usually pretty okay. But my cramps last just about my whole period, my period is 7 days and I cramp for like 4/5 days striaght. I'm talking about uterus cramping, backaches, thighs hurting, and my bottom is really tender; and my periods are usually really heavy too. My doctor prescribed me some medicine to help keep me from getting sick, and it works when I take it but I wanna know if there is a method I can try other than medication? And yes I do jog daily but is there any other kind of exercises or anything I can do to prevent me from getting sick when I get my menstrual?

Other than the Gravol type medication they give you there is nothing much that you can do. You can try a complete overhall of your life meaning a total revamp of your diet to see if it helps any but that takes awhile. You can also take Midol for the pain and cramping, or a simple hot water bottle on your stomach.

Every woman reacts differently during their periods so there is no exact way that it is going to be, should be, or will continue to be. For me personally I rarely get cramping or pain, never turn into an emotional mess, my mood hardly changes (except for wanting more sex lol), and I have relatively light periods so I basically have it easy. The only other thing that could be happening is you have simply conditioned yourself to become sick on that second day because you associate your period with getting sick. If that is the case it will be tough to change.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

yea...the only way I won't get sick is if I take medicine before my period comes on...and most of the time I don't know its gonna come on until it does...

Its not that I associate it that way, but I really do get sick, my doctor says its a medical condition meaning my hormones are unbalanced...which means I have too many feminine hormones...But she didn't tell me if there was anything that I can do besides taking medicine...

Birth control pills? Yeah that's still "medicine" but could balance your hormones quite well, plus it's protection against pregnancy if you need it.
