    Question Stomachache? Help

My fiance has been having a weird stomachache, I wonder what's happening. He's been having it for about 1 week. He has the pain on his stomach but no signs of dizzyness, fever, or nausea, sweating, or something like that. He said it hurts all the day, but the pain is worse after he eats something. It hurts like cramping, he said it hurts when he moves.

He went to doctor already and got his stomach checked. But the doc says nothing serious. And the day after he told me it hurts again. I'm really worried. Anyone ever had this?

I'm thinking he is having an ulcer problem.. but how come the doc doesnt know about this? I'm not blaming the doc but it's making me panic cuz it's weird.

It could be as simple as he is eating too much gassy foods and it is building up faster than he can get rid of it. Other things could be gastritis, gastroenteritis (the flu), IBS, or colitis. A doctor could order for a colonoscopy or endoscopy but everything can still look fine leaving him in the same position as before. Abdominal pain covers a huge list of possible ailments so it can be difficult for a doctor to make any sort of diagnosis especially if the symptoms come and go or simply disappear.

Thanks for your input.. I'll look up what's called by the flu, IBS, n colitis later. But yeah, maybe he's experiencing one of what you've just mentioned. He takes meds for stomach, I hope he's doing fine.

Meteospasmyl is an antispasmodic drug used for IBS so that makes sense as to why he is on that for the abdominal pain but I have no idea what bepiris is...unless it is used under a different name. Doctors will likely just keep him on the muscle relaxants and the antispamodics because unless they know exactly what is going on with the intestinal tract there is not much they can do.

Thanks for ur opinion, I really appreciate it .. He's still taking those two meds, we'll see in a few days if it will make him better. I hope he will be better soon. I can't stop worrying cuz he is far.

Hi jns, yeah I think the doc checked his stomach including the possibilities of appendicitis.. but he said nothing serious is happening.. maybe later if it still hurts he will need to do endoscopy.. for now, he only takes medicines.
