Good afternoon, this morning i got up and when i went to get out of bed the ball of my left foot hurt horribly. When i went to bed it was fine, i dont remember stepping on anything last night either. It feels as if it could be bruised or like something is in my foot. I dont see anything though not even bluish as if it was a bruise. It only truly hurts when there is pressure on it like if i press on it or if i am walking, when i am sitting and have it propped up it doesnt hurt. I am hoping i didnt get bit by anything but i would think i would see a mark of some sort. The pain is in the ball of my foot right below my second to last toe near my pinky toe on the left foot. Any Ideas?? I have never had foot pain before so i could be very minor but i am not sure and i am a little scared. I was told by a co worker to soak my feet in hot water when i get home. i will give it a shot...

Anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong, or what i can to to try and get rid of the pain?

    Thank you!

I also feel it like if i slide my foot lightly acrossed the floor... so it doesnt have to be a lot of pressure and it hurts soo bad.

No i laid on the couch for most of the night last night... my favorite shows were on I dont remember hitting it on anything or stepping on anything at all. The only thing was i walked out on my back porch in my socks for about 5mins talking to my husband while he was out there. Other then that nothing.

Maybe you have a very small splinter in your foot?

I dont know where it would come from though, my back porch is concrete not wood, and like i said i dont see anything there! I am going to try soaking my foot i hot water, my co worker said that could help draw whatever is in there out, if there is anything in there at all... I am really hoping its just a bruise that will go away!

You are right, i do hair on the side actually and cut my husbands hair at home all the time, but his hair is dark and by the time its cut its normally a good inch long when i sweep it up. I really see nothing by looking at my foot would soaking my feet in hot water make it easier to see if it was a hair splinter?
