For the chills, body aches, sweating and other influenza type symptoms take Astragalus. I like the Gaia herb liquid. To start take 35 drops in a small glass of warm water, every 3 hours. If it is influenza you will literally feel the illness leaving your body. The earlier on you start it the more effective it is.

A few years ago a freind was taking her RN final exam the next day and was feeling just awful. I ran some over to her and explained how to take it. When I spoke to her a day later, after her exam she proclaimed it to be a 'miracle' cure.

    This bruising still concerns me

I didn't think the flu was going around, but it could very well be. I've just kept feeling worse and worse, so achy, exhausted. At least I'm keeping food down right now. Husband massaged my hands, wrists and arms most of the night. Super crazy sweet of him. I'll look up the stuff you wrote about WildChild.

Hopefully Monday the doc and test results can point me in a better direction. Normally I get sick, and I can say "hey it's this!" because it's obvious....I can't figure this out at all and it's awful because I just can't relax and rest...I don't have the time. Homework, family, chaos, cleaning...it's all a lot right now. I feel whiny and I'm very sorry I'm whining at the forum, lol

    Maybe tomorrow will be better!

It sucks but it is always there, a virus does what it wants when it wants lol. I have a cold right now and it is still some 65+ degree weather...I do not like having colds when its warm out.

Did you by any chance check your throat for the growing white puss patches (or if you are lucky no patches) before you went to the doctor?

Not much you can do with mono, you will likely feel like garbage for awhile though oh and don't go kissing people lol...they will get the virus as well and it does stay inside you for life.

No, my throat has been sore off and on recently, but I thought I just needed to drink water. The doctor looked at my throat and thought it was okay.

My husband has been making jokes all day now about me going to teen parties and calling me "Miss Mono", lol. At least he's taking it well. I kissed him on the finger earlier and he proceeded to walk around saying "hahahaha (evil laugh) now I can infect everyone!" lol

Seriously...I just keep saying to myself...how did I get mono and this is silly. lol At least I know now right? My exhaustion makes sense and I feel better about it and a bit less worried.
