exhausted...up for an hour, sleep for one or two...repeat through the day
    weak
    exhausted
    so so tired
    bruising
    headaches every day

so so tired....have an ulcer, wasn't able to eat anything more than chicken broth, bread, and some random small snacks the last two weeks. husband picked up iron pills today and i just took two. should i go to the doc or wait to see if the pills work? I hate doctors.

    so so so tired.

The symptoms you describe could be aplastic anemia. The reason I know is that I had those symptoms and was checked out for it 4 years ago, I didn't have it. You should go to the doctor and get checked, they said it could be a life threatening condition.

went to the doc...my primary is at a walk-in clinic. not anemic. she is running some other things though and took PLENTY of blood from me to do so.

she's thinking it's something viral and is hoping it stops in the next few days. i'm so tired though....so so tired.

I'm glad it's not anemia because that can be bad. I hope you get feeling better.

Hope the test give you some answers. The bruising is only thing that really jumps out at me as a concern above a possible virus. You could have a vit K or vit C deficiency. Do you consume a lot of ginger, garlic, fish oil or Ginkgo? In large quanitities they act as blood thinners which can increase bruising and I suppose could cause fatigue too.

I used bc to skip my period for two months, then I missed a pill by mistake and my period has been going for about 3 weeks now. Not really bad, but that might be part of it.

No, I haven't been eating any of those things recently. The last week or two I've been getting sick a LOT an have been eating a lot of broth and bland foods.

Basically, it could be a virus, the lack of food, the three week period, or stress from everything going on in my life. I've had some tea this morning, but I'm so tired and could easily go back to bed. The exhaustion is pretty overwhelming right now.

I actually just noticed, the entire part of my arm (the inside elbow area) from where they took blood yesterday is this awful black/blue color. I've never bruised like this before from any shot. It's a huge area!

Dragging myself into the shower. Have to try to stay awake....house needs to be cleaned for extended family visiting this week...and have MASSIVE amounts of homework to do. Hopefully just a virus and I'll feel better soon.

Do you have any fevers, sweating, chills?

chills and sweating yes. I had to clean today due to family coming in, and I don't think I have ever been covered in sweat so much, and been blazing hot one second and then shivering the next.

I did not meet my goal of staying awake today...I ended up sleeping for three hours. I've been typing and trying to finish homework since I got up...my fingers are aching...like...the joints hurt...my arms hurt. The bruise from the shot is completely black....with as sick as I looked today, pale and such...dressed in my black outfit and the mark on my arm I looked like a junkie, lol. I refused to leave the house! :P

My husband keeps reaching out to touch me then commenting on how clammy I feel. :P lovely, lol

The chills, sweating, and body aches are often a sign of influenza, which is a viral infection. Usually that clears up within a week or two, some prescriptions can help but there really are not many which is why time, rest, and Advil are usually advised as the only way to rid of it.
