    Hi Lily,
Quite a few of our patients take Crestor at the hospital that I work at and seem to have good overall results. Crestor helps in lowering your bad cholesterol while helping to increase your good cholesterol. Though with any medication there is the risk of side effects and usually those side effects are very mild and usually tend to disappear after a couple of days. Some of the side effects are nausea, constipation, abdominal cramps and muscle pain which are usually mild. As I said most all of our patients have good results from this medication. Of course with taking this medication it is also good that you change your diet to include foods that are healthy that will aid in lowering your cholesterol. You will want to cut down or cut out completely your salt intake. Remember that if you have any problems or questions to contact your doctor because not all medications are right for everybody. As far as vitamin B12 it has many functions and one way of increasing your b12 levels is through diet. Adding more fish, poultry, and diary products to your diet including things such as plain yogurt and bran cereal. I hope you found some of this information helpful. Good luck with lowering your cholesterol.
