    Question Whats going on with me?!

    For the past 4 weeks I've been pretty stressed so I havent had a lot of sleep or much of an appetite. But now my appetite is starting to come back and my sleeping pattern is way out of wack. Usually I'm perfectly good with 6 hours of sleep (When I was stressing I'd usually have 1-4). Im not sure if my body is trying to make up for the loss sleep or if maybe somethings wrong? For the past 2 weeks I'll sleep 6-7 hours during the night, come home from school and sleep another 2 hours. On the weekends I sleep half the day. I dont know why! I'm getting worried because I'll sleep through when I usually eat and then wont eat later, I cant focus, I'm always off into a different world. My dad asked if I was depressed because all I do is sleep, maybe I am. Anyone have a good idea?

    I went through this, and when your stressed you do have sleeping problems, but when getting back to normal, your biological clock is out of sorts and routine.
    Because your sleeping at different times, your body gets confused and is out of a normal sleeping routine.

    At the weekend's, get up at the same time as you would during the week, and try get back in to your routine. And don't over sleep, because the more sleep you get, it actually leaves you feeling more tired.
    Make sure get up early, have your breakfast and make sure you have all your meals every day. It may take a week or two to get back in to your routine properly, but you will be feeling much better.

    1-4 hours is definitely not enough sleep. So if this is what's happening when you're stressing, you're getting behind on your rest, plus weakening your immune system, etc. You're not getting enough sleep at night, so your body is trying to make up for it during the day.

    I challenge you to set a goal for the next month to get as close to 8 hours a sleep a night as possible. I think you'll see a drastic difference in your energy level, your appetite, and even weight loss efforts (or other physical fitness goals).
