Grosse thing in the back of my throat! Ew
Ever heard of pollups? Me either but thats what my mom says i have and is caused from allergies?..My doc on the other hand has no clue and says I might not be brushing far enough and am getting trapped food in the back of my teeth lol *shakes head*
anyway - i've been getting these little round things on the back of my tongue/throat (its so far back I can't see or feel them with a finger) all I know is that Ifeel like I have bad breathe for a few weeks and all of a sudden I get a tickle in my throat - cough - and this little chunk (like a cottage cheese chunk) flies out - its yellow and STINKS like nothing you've ever smelled (sorry - this is grosse)
and thats why I need help! any ideas?

i feel your pain
i too get those, and so does my sister. her doctor told her it was food. my doctor told me it was dried mucus which i believe because i tend to have a lot of mucus, and they are always the same color and everything i eat is not. so far i dont know what to do about them. at least you know you are not alone. let me know if you find a way to prevent them and i'll do the same.

Could it be tonsils?
Hi,
I get those too, and have for my whole life. I finally got a small flashlight and took a look myself to see if I could spot where they come from. On the back left side of my throat is a little slit that they come from. You can actually see them if you kind of scrunch your throat like you are trying to gag while holding your mouth open wide. They are gross. I still have my tonsils and wonder if they may have something to do with that. I wish they would go away as they make me worry about my breath all the time.

Bacteria
These small cottage-cheese like things come out of the crevices by your tonsils right? My mother and 2 sisters and i have wondered what these are forever because we all get them. (i can usually get them out with the end of a toothbrush or a q-tip. i only do this when i can feel them back there and it gets really bothersome.) When i went to the doctor for it they told me it was drainage from my ears he didnt really seem like he knew what i was talking about tho...i think might have just been guessing...but when my friend went to her ear, nose, and throat doc (she gets them too...) he told her it is actually bacteria that grows in the back of your throat! ewww right? yeah she went and got her tonsils removed for this and they have not been back...i notice when its summer time i get them way more often...maybe the moist air im breathing in summer? (live in michigan) so if they really bug you you should go see an ear nose and throat doctor!
