Ive had a strange week I'll tell ya. First off I've been diagnosed with G.A.D which i've mainly gotten under control. I've also been diagnosed with GERD and IBS.
Ive had a UTI the past week I'm clearing up now (with help of rephres pro b, it works!)
I've also had alot of stress the past couple weeks and insomnia.
So heres whats been happening.
I wasn't eaten very well from the stress and when I started eating again as soon as I was finished or mid-meal Id start having shortness of breath and a tightness in my chest along with heart palps. I'm use to heart palps after I eat ive always had that, but the shortness of breath is new. It feels like i can't catch my breath and i have to lay down and relax and calm myself because the first few days i was having it they would send me into anxiety attacks. Ive also noticed it worsens when im tired but Ive also noticed ive had alot of bloating and gas and I didnt know if maybe that was the cause. I'm hoping it is cause I know how to get rid of it or at least know it'll eventually go away. Ive noticed if i drink water the breathing gets alittle better but not completely Sometimes i even get a pressure behind my sternum.
Ive also had allergies but even after i clear my sinuss i still feel this way.
It has to be related to either fatigue or eating or both because it happens after I eat even if its just a small snack, I have alittle bit of reflux from my GERD and alot of burping but it dont feel anymore then ive had before without the breathing problems.
I've had something similar, especially when eating a meal that was a little larger than normal. It almost feels like the food is blocking your airways? When I had it the first thing they checked for was a hiatal hernia because apparently that can cause such a feeling. They also checked about my stomach not producing enough digestive acid and enzymes, so the food would just sit there in a big clump. It was very uncomfortable, both in terms of the shortness of breath feeling as well as for the stomach and intestines. After a couple months taking enzymes with every meal, it went back to normal. You may want to look into those possibilities if it continues.
