it sounds like it may be cysts. I do recommend getting it checked out. I have a family friend whose in her teens who suffers from cysts so age isn't a factor but i say go see your doctor
For a while now, I've been having these intense cramps between periods, and when I do get my period, the pain is so intense that pain killers have little effect. At first I thought it was just the start of my ovulation, but I'm getting a little concerned now, since my mom had ovarian and uterus cysts and had to get a full hysterectomy done.
Is this something to be concerned about, or is it normal? I'm 20 years old and otherwise healthy. Help?

Lifes not about how many breaths you take its about how many moments take your breath away!
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars
Do not wait to get checked out. My daughter and step daughter (both 20) have problems with cysts. My step daughter had a cyst rupture and she ended up in the hospital. Please don't fool around with this. Please get it checked.
There will always be boundries, but making love is so different, than having sex, let's face it. CW
Please get yourself check out as soon as possible, as one of my friends who's the same age as you and I, had similar pains/cramps and that turn out to be uterus cysts, which fortunately were treatable with surgery, and since has made a full recovery.
It really is better to be safe than sorry.
Come what may count your blessings
