    Wink Frustrating problem?

    Hello...

This post isn't for me, it's actually for my sister who does not know where else to turn.

She has just turned 18 years old, and ever since she started menstruating at 12 years old, she says that she has this severe "burning" pain when she urinates. Sometimes, even before, so she'll hold her pee for hours hoping the feeling will pass so she can finally pee, because if she pees anyway, then it gets pretty unbearable for her. She also says that sex has almost always hurt, and recently she has started bleeding during sex...

She HAS seen a doctor... a few doctors, she doesn't seem to have any infections, or anything, they tell her they don't understand what could be wrong...

And they send her on her way. =/

So I was hoping maybe you guys would have any ideas...

    Thanks.

It sounds like a urinary tract infection but if she's seen several doctors I am sure they have tested her for that. Actually... what tests have they run on her when she has gone to the doctor? Is she having any lower back pain at all? If the doctors have tested her for a uti, std's, she may want to google kidney stones and see if her symptoms are relative to having kidney stones. They wouldn't show up in a urine test I think they have to do an X-ray, ultrasound or MRI to find out.

Yes she has been checked for a uti, and they have done all kinds of blood work and cultures test. I don't know if she gets back pain...

But I have kidney stones, so it's a possibility she might too... only mine don't really bother me at all. I could suggest that. Thanks.
