I seem to have the need and urge to sleep more and more lately, if i have a nap though i can't sleep in the evening and I can never seem to get in to gear in the mornings. My brain just doesn't seem to want to wake up. :/ Any suggestions?

You should probably avoid the naps so that you can fall asleep in the evening... allow yourself a good 6-8 hours of dedicated time to sleep at night. Turn off the computer and tv an hour or two before bed, playing games, being online etc... all puts your mind into a hyper stimulation that takes a while to turn off when you go to bed.. Dont eat anything a couple hours before bed and avoid drinking coffee/sodas/caffinated teas past noon.

If you sleep a good well-rested 6-8 hours and still wake up groggy and still feel tired through the day, it would be best to see a doctor. There are many things that can be causing you to not get adequate rest even though you have slept, sleeping disorders etc , some of which can be dangerous to your health so seeing your doc is important if you are doing all the right things, sleeping through the night and STILL feeling tired.

Do you snore? Are you taking any medications? Do you drink alcohol?
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.

You may be going through a bout of depression. Go to the student services office or medical office and get an appointment to see someone about this. The symptoms seem classical.

Life's Fortune vitamin complex. It's made from food sources not chemically engeneered in a lab like centrum, one a day, and any GNC multi(with God knows WHAT kind of side effects). I had the exact same problem. All I wanted to do was sleep, nap, rest, lay down. It really took a toll on my life and my relationship with my fiance. I never wanted to do the things I loved because I was too darn tired. I talk with him about it and we decided to go to our local health store (a mom and pop place, not a chain store) and ask the owner/certified dietician/herbalist/homeopathic expert. He asked a few questions and gave me some samples of the Life's Fortune. You take one after eating breakfast and 2 after eating lunch. Don't take on an empty stomach or the B vitamins will cause a major upset tummy.

After the first day I noticed a difference. After a week I felt like a brand new me. I was peppy, energetic, productive, and gleeful (everything I normally am when not plagued by the "sleepy sickness" as I called it ). I would definitely look into it if I were you. It really helped me out a lot.

Check your iron, because it could be low. Also, I agree with taking a vitamin and mineral supplement. Preferably liquid though. I take a liquid vitamin and mineral supplement too, because I used to be tired all the time too. It has really helped me. I have been getting up early and staying up late because I have had lots of studying too do, and I am amazed that I have been able to stay up. I also have been doing yoga too.
