Oh wow... That sounds like the onset of diabetes type I... Frequent urination, excessive thirst, shakes and dizziness all together are some pretty common signs of diabetes. I'd go back and talk to your Dr about getting checked for that.
Your pancreas is on your left side which supplies insulin and glucagon to the bloodstream. Glucagon is produced to raise the blood sugar level when you haven't eaten in a while and insulin is used to take up glucose into either storage or as food into the cells of the body. Like a mom feeds a baby, insulin feeds the cells. If the insulin isn't there then the cells won't be fed. From what you're saying it sounds like you're not producing enough insulin to "feed" the cells in your body causing the symptoms of hypoglycemia. The left side pain would most likely be from the pancreas trying to correct the imbalance problem.
I'm a doctor's assistant, not a doctor, so I cannot diagnose or prescribe anything but I HIGHLY recommend marching back into that office and having your urine and blood analyzed for glucose levels and possible problems with insulin production.
So go! Get thee hence to a doctor!![]()
