Thread: chronic left side pain! please help!!

hi I've had ongoing left side pain for 6 months now, when the pain first started I went straight to the doc who says that it was a kidney infection and he put me on a 7 day course of antibiotics, after finishing the antibiotics I was still getting the pain so I went back and he said it was either a urinary tract infection or pelvic imflammitory disease so he gave me antibiotics to fight off both infections after those tablets the pain still continued and I went back again and he says it was constipation and put me on a laxitive for 10 days I finished that 4 days ago and the pain seems to be continuing. I have been taking sopadol 500MG painkillers they have stopped working with the pain, the pain is on my left side and if I lie down it gets worse and goes right round to my back, I also get the shakes which I cannot seem to control and sometimes feel dizzy I have been tested for diebetes which has came back clear. can someone please give me some advice as this is ruining my life at the moment I'm not able to work or leave bed as I'm really sore I'm only 22. thanks xx

well I've already done that and she says that it was a pelvic injury which can't be true!
