You won't be aware anything has even happened due to the anesthetic. You get your IV, you are told to count down from 10 and you will not make it to saying 8. You wake up thinking it has only been a second when it was actually the entire surgery. Take the pain meds if you need to after. Other than that it is pretty basic and routine, day surgeries are really common for a lot of procedures so complications if any are very rare.

Some ask you to countdown, some it does not matter because by the time someone registers what the doctor has just said they are already down and out. When you wake up it feels like you are the most tired you have ever been in your life and you just want to roll over and sleep. You don't even care if the IVs get all wrapped around your hand you just want to sleep lol. Maybe 10 minutes later you start to open your eyes a bit more but you will be all groggy.

    Rock solid advice from ItsASecret.

Glad the surgery is over and you are recovering.
