I am 40 and right now have a cold and a low fever (100) for the past few days. Today a few times throughout the day I started getting back cramps and felt like i was in pre labor (I have kids)

It was also down low in groin area too and radiated around and could feel it a little in my legs too. It wasn't real painful but it was annoying and I couldn't even sit still. It felt better when I would walk and stand. when I lied down it got worse.

I have never had a problem with cramps during periods and I am not pregnant. Though I think I may be ovulating today. if not today then tomorrow.

Any ideas on why I feel like I am going into labor but am not pregnant and it comes and goes? Does constipation feel like that?
