*I would like to make it clear that I am not anorexic or bulemic!*

    A little background:
I am seventeen, and have been very active my entire life. I havent excersized as heavily as normal for a few months because of knee problems

    Whats going on:

over the past two/three weeks, I have been getting sick when I eat. I just dont feel good physically after I've eaten. I get very lethargic, and my stomach hurts and i lose my appetite, but I am still hungry. I have also had diarrhea for three months. I have never had a very regulated eating schedule, and I am wondering if it is finally catching up with me. I dont eat regular, large breakfast's because I never have time to eat, I always eat lunch at the same time every day, and then my dinners are usually really sporadic. sometimes i will eat at 5, sometimes at 9 or 10. I am not eating very large portions anymore, because its just so uncomfortable. I have only ever really eaten when I feel hungry and lately that has been quite reduced..My friend thinks that I am borderline anorexic, but I dont have any body-image issues, or self destructive tendencies.

can someone help me please? I think that my problems may be from my sporadic habits, but i would like others opinions. thank you

If it is garbage food then you are going to feel like garbage. Happens to me all the time. I am a full time student so I do not have time to make myself proper meals so I eat sporadically and often in large portions. I am going to grab a ziploc baggie of potato chips rather than making a bland tasting spinach salad if I have a break at school. The processed hot meals at school are going to be bought over the bland tasteless salad and so on. However I try to eat well when I do find the time. My snacks will be cucumbers, cauliflower, carrots, chicken breast, apples, whatever fruit I can find and so on. But the second I eat some chips or have like a greasy piece of chicken or some cookies I feel like I got hit by a bus. My stomach gurgles, my insides clench, I feel like throwing up. All because of the mass grease/fat/salt dose from the food. Granted the foods that cause so much grief are quite good tasting because of the grease but each time I have that food I try to tell myself that the yucky feeling happens every time.

A lot can be tied to your diet, if you are going to eat a large portion then eat a large portion of fruit or veggies. It may not be as filling or tasty as say fried chicken or a good burger but it is going to result in making you feel better.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

    Another thought....

Try to eat less food more often, like a complex carbohydrate, a protein and a healthy fat five times each day.

Example: A piece of whole grain toast with a THIN layer of peanut butter, a yogurt and a piece of fruit with water or low fat/no fat milk to drink.

    maybe see your doctor.
my ex passed symptoms like this off for years.... they kept telling him it was nothing - bad eating, lack of sleep... etc....
he stopped eating because it was soooo uncomfortable for him. turns out he has celiac and by eliminating gluten from his diet hes back to normal.
it could be anything.... but i would suggest seeing your doctor and keep pressing for answers
