When I was younger and living at home, my sister told me that I snored, talked and farted in my sleep. I didn't believe her until she made a tape. Sure enough I could hear loud snoring, mumbling and an occasional fart, the tape was 2 hours long.

When I started sleeping with my fiance (the first man I ever slept all night with), I was very worried that I would do the same things. As a precaution, I avoid eating foods that might cause gas and before going to bed I chew Gas-X. After the first few nights, I asked him if I snored, he said sometimes, then asked if I talked in my sleep, he said I mumbled but he couldn't understand anything. I asked him if I did any other unusual things in my sleep, he said yes you do. I thought he was referring to me farting but he said I move around, thrash around so much like I'm fighting something in my dreams. He said it was kinda of cute to watch me. I never remember my dreams so I have no idea if I was dreaming or about what it would be.

I've been sleeping with him for 3 weeks now, he told me that I have mostly stopped the thrashing around and just cuddle and sleep next to him all night. Still no mention if I fart and I'm not going to ask.

    Lol. Funny thread.

When are you eating supper? When do you go to bed? Have you changed anything in your diet recently?

I eat mostly vegetarian, and at first, it caused lots of gassiness. As a precaution, I now carry Gas-X in my purse.

I wouldn't worry so much about the sleep thing. He farts....right? He knows you do too. And if you're comfortable enough to sleep together...I'm sure it would be no real shocker to him. I'd say he'd get quite a chuckle out of it.

Are you drinking carbinated drinks before bed, like soda? That might make you gassy. I know I get it after eating like salsa and acidic foods.
