Thread: Worried, what could this be?

A few days ago i noticed a blood coloured patch of skin on my groin area, i thought that it was an ingrown hair and opened it up. It bled for at least half an hour and has not healed over. Worried over what it could be and whether or not its skin cancer?

That may have been a cherry angioma. Look at some pictures on google and see if that is what it is. If you suspect something more serious you should see a doctor. Especially if you are worried about skin cancer. They can check you over and educate you on signs/symptoms of a possible skin cancer or lesion.
