Default Headaches daily and nausea from time to time

So i've been having some weird issues lately. Maybe I should start back in January, or at least back in October.

In October of 2010 I got switched to a different birth control pill in hopes of me loosing a bit of weight. Needless to say it did help a bit but come January I started experiencing some major dizziness issues that progressed on. They happened usually at the start of a new pack of pills and would subside the further I got into the pack. After many many call ins from work and multiple doctor visits I stopped taking the pill May 10th of this year.

The dizziness has subsided but my migraines have progressed more so than usual. I don't usually get them but they've already caused me to call in from work twice within the last month. Also, it has been super hot here and without a very good AC in my store, it gets real hard to deal. Lately I've been experiencing headaches almost every day of the week, very rarely do I NOT have a headache, even on my days off. Also, after eating dinner or even lunch I often get nauseated but it passes within a couple of minutes. I don't know what it is. I've taken a pregnancy test just to be safe and it was negative as I suspected. Could it just be a mixture of the extreme heat and me still getting off the pill? I'll say now that I have not had a period since May and I'm still waiting for it to come. Could my system just be extremely screwed up?

    Any advice given is appreciated!

I'm not a doctor, so my advice and thoughts are just opinion and speculation.

As far as migraines, I used to get them a lot, but I haven't had a serious one for a long time. I've found a few different triggers; keep a food log, maybe there's a trend. Also, it could be anything from your pillow/how you sleep, to not getting enough water. On the water note, since summer hit I've noticed the same thing after eating, and I think it's because I'm not getting enough water. I'm testing that theory out currently. It could be related to your birth control, but your doctor would be the one who would know best. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it I didn't have the nausea issue until I went back on my birth control, so maybe it is a hormonal thing. The water helps, especially if it's ice cold.

:-/ I know, not very helpful.

Water is not an issue with me. I carry a HUGE bottle with me to work and then I drink glass next to glass when I get home. I wouldn’t be surprised if I drink at least a gallon a day. I know that wouldn’t be the issue and I rarely drink soda or juice or anything like that. Strictly water.

These aren’t so much as migraines as just regular headaches but I have gotten two within the last month. I also forgot to mention that I’m not on any form of birth control pill at the present time as I’m waiting for my period to come in order to start my new pill. The only pills I take are a multi vitamin and my heartburn pills at night since I deal with Acid Reflux. Like I said, I ruled out being pregnant (thank god) soo I’m stuck.

I think it's entirely possible that you are experiencing sinus headaches due to the weather. It is also possible that you have a bit of a sinus infection. Sinus drainage can cause you to be a bit sick at your stomach at times.

The solution for me? Neti pot, daily if not twice per day.

As for the BC, If you've been off since May and haven't had a period yet, your body hasn't fully adjusted yet. So that's still coming too.

Well oddly enough it hasn't happened the last few days but I do have to say that my period finally started yesterday after waiting since the end of May. Maybe that was just how my body was reacting to it coming or something, noo idea. Our bodies react in strange ways :P
