    Default Abdominal Pain!

Recently stopped taking birth control due to the fact I cannot currently afford it. I am extremely sexually active. (one partner) Past week I have had a small discomfort in my lower abdomen. I could best explain it as constipation cramps, but I am definitely not constipated. But, for the past 2 days, it hurts to sit, stand, have sex, all around discomfort. It's so bad it's making my lower back hurt, insanely! It's not period cramps, I just got over my period. Pregnancy possibly? We haven't been using protection, but he doesn't do his 'business' inside me either.

Helllp me, I can't afford to go to the doctor!

I think u should try to have a pregnancy test done. Remember that even he doesn't do his business inside you, as u said, he could have left some of his "seeds" inside u as men also have a previous fluid, before ejaculation, that contains semen too. That could be a risk for becoming pregnant.

I have recently had the same problem. I have been with my husband for 10 years and never had this. About a month and a half ago I went off BC and now when I have sex it happens for days or a week. I can tell you how to make it go away but I don't know what it is. You take Tylenol and drink lots of water. I dont think you are pregnant. I just think your body is trying to get back to normal after being on birth control. I will probably be going to the doctor soon to ask about it so I will let you know if I can. Good luck.

I think it's very possibly that your body is just adjusting to being off of birth control, especially since you just got over your period, your menstrual cycles are going to be different. Also, birth control helps make menstrual cramps less severe, so maybe you're experiencing some post-menstrual pains that you're not used to. It's always a safe bet to take a test, though.
