That material is always covered in first year physiology, anatomy and nursing books. Did you bring your textbooks along on your trip?
hi all, just thought id see what assistance i could get here with my assignment. im doing an access course(access to nursing and midwifery) and m currently on vacation. ive to complete a write up after doing an investigation of the effect of exercise on the pulse rate. i have to take the pulse rates of about five pple at different times eg. whilst sitting ,standing, after having exerted some effort mayb walked up some stairs, jogged for a few minutes, etc. im hoping that someone here may have done an investigation like this b4(oh its a biology assignment-A level stage) any contributions will b appreciated, i know that this is probably not thekind of forum for this, but just hoping by chance i might get something, ive bn sitting on this work since a month and a half ago and now need to do it..we go back beginning of september

There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
have a few but there is no in depth info
Text books will cover it all, that is why they are given. I am not trying to be rude I am simply speaking from experience as a University science student who has done countless papers on those subjects. They suck, they take a lot of research and time to do that but the material is there. Exercising is one of the most covered topics, blood pressure rises, vessels dilate and constrict, respiration changes, heart rate sky rockets then dampens...blah blah blah, first year intro course material. It is all there but darn annoying to look for I know. Profs are wanting you to take the basic stuff like vasoconstriction = high blood pressure and turn it into a paragraph. The data makes it easier since you can repeat the same thing 5 times since you have 5 different data subjects. It is literally patient one after exercise heart rate 180 or whatever, patient two: 150 and so on. Just talk about what happens, talk about the physiology and why the cells react the way they do. Mention the role of oxygen, if your instructor is looking for more physiology based research you could mention the role of muscle cells in contraction especially in the heart. There should have been an outline given to you on the basic things that should be covered, go through that list and make note of what you need to still research. Make sure you include all that was in that list though in some way or another.
