I'm looking for a little advice here and hope someone else has experienced the same thing or something along the same lines. I am 53, post menopausal, and in pretty good health and quite active. I also suffer from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue (though I've been managing it quite well lately). Since April I have been suffering with great discomfort above my left breast. Sometimes the pain can be quite debilitating. I've had an EKG and chest x-rays, which turned up nothing. You know how some dr.'s want to poo-poo anything problems with women and when basic tests reveal nothing than it must be in their heads. I don't know whether my fibromyalgia is just really acting up or what. Any ideas?

Wow. Can you see a heart specialist?
Maybe there's something your regular doctor is missing -- especially if you have pain in your chest. That's nothing to underestimate.
