Default I NEED HELP! Hormonal imbalance or worse?

Kind of a long story, but I will try to give the low down the best I can. A year ago I started getting very sick every 3-4 weeks, getting flushed, passing out, throwing up. this would then be followed by the most extremely painful cramps ive ever felt. my period then became so heavy I couldnt leave my bed. I started taking 3 sick days a month. the timing of the passing out and throwing didn't prompt my PCP to think it was gyno at first, took a few months to figure it out. During this time the fatigue and depression like symptoms set it, and some days I felt like I couldn't even lift my arms I was so tired. I would get strange tingling in my legs and feet.I also started notiving wierd acne nodules under my chin, which i have read are hormonal. ( i have always have very clear skin) Finally I was given a vaginal ultasound and they found 2 fibroid tumors each 2 cm in diameter. They proceeded to put me on birth control (against my wishes bc I have has problems with it in the past).

Now a year later, I am back at the doctors office with splitting migraines 4 times a week. they have given me topamax (an anti-convulsion med) that i take morning and night. I have stopped getting my period all together, but the pain has come back during the time that i should have my period. My PCP believes the birth control (which has a history of causing blots clots) may be causing my migraines. So I am now off the birth control, but still on the topomax. The pain is horrific. My hair has started falling out. I feel that I can not stand up I am so weak and tired. The strange nodules have already shown back up on my chin. The migraines have not stopped. they have done one blood test on my thyroid.

PLEASE PLEASE. if you have any idea or thoughts on what could be going on I am open to listen. I feel that all this pain is a hormonal imblanace of some sort, but I am tired if running from doctor to doctor and trying to explain to them that i just dont feel well. I appreciate EVERY OUNCE of advice. Thanks to you all!

Get 2nd Opinions and 3rd and 4th. Don't Stop until you get the proper answers. It may be more than one thing combined with other symptoms.
We are Not Dr's here, but you need someone as a PCP that Know's when to Refer you out ..
    Good luck

Default Homeopathy was a miracle for me

I was where you are about 9 mos ago. It was horrific. My symptoms were nearly identical to yours. I saw several doctors who, as best as they could figure, I was in perimenopause (I'm 38). Btw - I have a history of endometriosis and fibroids. They wanted to put me on migraine meds, birth control and anti-depressants for the major mood swings. I've been down all those roads and they don't solve anything. At best, they somewhat mask the symptoms but also come with a whole host of side effects and other problems. I knew I needed some real help - not symptom masking. My whole life was falling apart b/c I could no longer function with the constant headaches, nausea, dizziness, black out spells, fits of crying, fatigue, debilitating periods, joint pain...agh! I mean seriously, it was like my body was completely coming apart. Like I said, it was horrific. Well, it was my sister who told me about a gynecologist in my area who was also a homeopath and she has a fantastic reputation so I looked her up and when I went to see her and gave her my symptoms she said it's 100% hormone imbalance and that it can be rectified - as in healed! Not just cover up the symptoms but fixing the problem - how's that for a concept! This is no exaggeration, she changed my life overnight. She put me on sepia and from the first application I had relief. HOWEVER, it wasn't solved overnight (though I had immediate relief from some of the worst symptoms). It's now been 9 mos and I am 100% back to normal. (Rule of thumb for homeopathy is one month of treatment for every year you have been sick...and I probably had been battling gynecological problems and hormone imbalance for at least 10 years...it was only in the last year that the problem had reached debilitating levels.) Anyway, I now have NO symptoms, periods are normal, life is good. Please, PLEASE see if you can find a reputable homeopath. I say reputable b/c homeopathy is extremely complicated and if you don't get someone who knows what they're doing, they are useless or at worst, can create more problems. But if you get someone good, they can help you get better - I mean HEALED. FYI - my doctor's name is Kathleen Fry in Scottsdale, AZ. I wish you the best and hope that you are able to find your way to healing!
