Default Pain in my seat area

I'm back in school, and for the last 2 days have sat in the classroom for 6 hours a day on hard chairs. I have a pain in the area between my butt and my vagina. If I lean to the side taking pressure off this area the pain goes away. I've never had a pain like this before. It don't seem to be either my butt or vagina that is causing the pain but the area between them. I don't have pain during BM's or during sex.

If it don't go away should I go to the doctor? I hate having a doctor poking around in that area.

There really isn't any fat there you are resting basically on bone, naturally it is going to bruise and or hurt..Can you take a cushion with you to sit on in future..Not many people can sit on hard chairs and not feel that.

I didn't want to resort to carrying a cushion but with 3 more days of all days classrooms maybe I better. There are a few students that carry cushions with them. After this week, I'll have labs so not near as much classroom instruction sitting on my butt.

If you don't like carrying a Cushion , you can always use a overnight heavy flow Maxi Pad, they are thicker than regular and mini's and give extra cushion in that Boney area.

Just Put it in the panties before class and take it out after class , no one will be the wiser, if you don't waer skin tight pants or shorts .

Another option is a piece of one of those "pool noodles" from your local dollar store. You can cut it to length and then cut it length wise to sit on. Quite small, fairly discreet and does wonders for those of us without any extra "cushion" in that area. In addition, it's not nearly as bulky as a regular seat cushion.

    Has this situation been resolved?

It went away gradually over a week. I had started carrying a cushion and now I'm spoiled because it is so much more comfortable I still carry it.
