save yourself some $
Don't buy drug store/supermarket shampoos, but also you don't have to buy salon lines. There are also "Professional" products that are found at Beauty Supply stores. L'Oreal makes gcopies of Matrix, Redken, Kerastasse and others in their Nature's Therapy line. BTW, L'Oreal OWNS Redken, Matrix , Kerastasse and many other companies.
There is also Naturelle Slickline, which is a copy of Matrix Sleekline(?). Naturelle is a sister company of Joico, Nucleic-A, Ban de Terre, ISO, Pativa, Zotos and Helene Curtis Professional.
DO spend $ on your dryer, but do your research. You want airflow not heat.
I purchased a Turbo Power Twin Turbo Ionic 3000 for $175 and it is amazing! Worth every penny. I returned my $125 CHI, that didn't get hot enough, and got a $50 BaBylissPRO that does the job. I also use Sabino Moisture Block when straightening my hair.

WATTS the Deal?
Higher wattage means more power, right?
Well, yes and no.
A unit with higher wattage will use more power resulting in higher electricity bills.
1 Watt = 1 Volt x 1 Amp
Two units drawing 1875 watts each, totaling 3750 watts may trip a 30 Amp circuit/fuse.
120 Volts x 30 Amps = 3600 Watts (The limit for the circuit/fuse)
More important is how the unit uses the wattage, fast heat-up, higher heat or higher airflow.
Small motors equal low airflow and high heat (which may burn hair/attachments/etc).
Large motors equal high airflow and lower, but still hot, heat (these are heavier dryers, used in salons).
It's all IONIC!
Water, when it falls, creates a negative(-) ionic charge. Most Ionic dryer create negative(-) ions (yes, some create positive(+)). Like ionic charges repel each other, much like magnetic fields do. A dryer with weak airflow will have ions that bounce off the negatively charged water. A dryer with massive airflow will disperse the negatively charged water and break it down for easier absorption into the hair and environment.
I hope this helps solve your frizzy hair problems.
