Have you taken any tylenol, advil, or muscle relaxers?
I haven't been on for awhile, but wanted another opinion on this before I start really worrying.
Symptoms...
Left calf on the external left side...pain.
Hurts to flex, hurts a little to massage it.
Recently that leg has been swelling with increased activity but the other leg has not.
I take Yaz.
My leg is not currently swollen, but it has been hurting since around 5 am now. Basically I don't want to rush off to the doctor and be like "OMG my leg hurts I'm gonna die"...if I don't need to. This does NOT feel like a normal leg cramp. It doesn't seem to be redder than normal, currently it isn't swollen, but obviously I'm concerned.
Suggestions?

There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
How does your foot look on the left side? Is it colder than your right? Different colour? When you push it (it will go white, count how long it takes to go pink again), does this take longer on your left side?
Was referred to the ER after first being referred to Urgent Care. While it seemed like a clot, they did an ultrasound and didn't find one. The doctor told me I was right to go to the ER thankfully so I didn't feel like an idiot, he was sure it was a blood clot based on what was going on.
The left leg is still swelling though from time to time. I'm not really for sure why, nor were they. The doctor thinks I've suffered from some trauma to it, but my husband and I can't think of a thing! I honestly don't know what I could have done to it to cause swelling over the last couple of weeks. If this keeps up, I'm going to head to my general doctor and see if they can figure it out.
At least it won't kill me! Bonus!
It really does not take much stress to throw your body for a loop, single bad day at work, forgetting to get groceries even though you have no time in the rest of the week to do it, tending to the emotional needs of a friend...simple things can cause stress.

Its great its not a clot -- because that can cause issues.
It could be trauma that you don't remember experiencing --- ie in sleep or even a slight knock that may not have felt bad.
Glad it's not a clot! If you suspect one, it's pretty important to get to a doctor ASAP - so don't feel silly.
Maybe you are favoring that leg during physical activity without realizing it?
keep off some weight away from that leg so that you can be sure it'll heal perfectly
