Yup. Jaw cracking is not uncommon, it is simply you moving your jaw in a way that your body decided was not the proper way so the cartilage snaps a bit. It does not mean you have an issue, it is like cracking your fingers or toes. At times you crack your fingers and that can hurt a lot for awhile and other times it cracks and no big deal. Sometimes though you can move your jaw in such a way that it does end up hurting, it will often go away but it can take opening and closing your mouth a few times to get it all straightened out again. If the pain persists to the point of not being able to open your mouth or eat and so on then you see a doctor, or if you start to swell and turn red (so an obvious issue) but a dull pain is more of an annoyance than a serious issue.
