just wanted to say I am bot on my period
Okay so I have been in pain for a couple of days now, and it goes the same way or close to it every time. the pain will either start in my left ovary area and move upwards around my belly (im a big girl) on the left side and than it will stop middle of sternum with the majority of the pain in my upper left side / under left boob near my belly. my stomach does not hurt, it feels like something else.
Today I went out with my friend her daughter n a little boy they take care of. well we were walking around the park and I was saying hydrated (had a 62 oz of water) and drank it all. but while we went up one hill I got sharp pains in the described areas. than we rested, so decided to go up a smaller hill n I was getting dizzy and felt like I was about to faint all because the pain was at like a 9.8 on the pain scale. I literally had to sit down cuz everything started going black.
a little about me: I am use to constipation only time I poo is the first two days of my period and that's it. I have been pooing for a couple of days now n the pain only gets worse. also have been feeling nauseous and anytime I burp I throw up in my mouth, but only a little bit. I have been having horrible headaches and just not in the best of moods either.
does anyone know what is wrong? Also sorry for any typos I am on my cell phone n it autocorrects words that I don't mean to sat.

Well first, having bowel movements only twice a month is not normal or healthy. The pain I would normally say could be gas but accompanied with the reflux (throwing up in mouth), the headaches and the nausea it could be a variety of things all of which would have to be diagnosed and treated by a medical professional.
Make an appt and get yourself checked out.
If you are that constipated it is going to be in your best interest to see a doctor and try to get a referral to a gastro specialist. If something is blocking your intestines then you will not have regular bowel movements, the constipation will increase, and pain can be very strong. You really need to see a doctor about this.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
I have gone to two doctors before about my bowl movements and both said that me going twice a day is normal for my body and I shouldn't worry about it. This pain will randomly happen even if I poo or not
Having a bowel movement twice a day WOULD be considered normal. But you said... :I have gone to two doctors before about my bowl movements and both said that me going twice a day is normal for my bodyHaving a bowel movement only a couple days per month would NOT be normal. Perhaps I'm confused here. Please clarify.I am use to constipation only time I poo is the first two days of my period and that's i
There is also a difference in random cramping/pain in a certain area of the body. There have been times when I thought I was having chest pains that turned out to be gas. BUT if I had been having those pains in addition to nausea, acid reflux, headaches, and over all malaise I would be seeing a doctor. I have fractured bones, had ovarian cysts to rupture (no words to even describe what that felt like) and I would have not at any point said my pain level was a 9 out of a 10. If I experienced something to that level I'd be in an ER immediately. And if I were you, considering where the pain seems to originate I would see an OBGYN.
Either way you're going to have to see a doctor, even if it's just to ease your mind. Even if it's something minor, it will drive you crazy and you'll find all sorts of other symptoms and things wrong with you that could be a result. It's human nature to worry like that. Your body is trying to tell you something...it's time to listen to it.
Beautiful Disaster - While growing up I have ALWAYS had constipation, even as a baby. My primary doctor said "It is normal for your body to only poo twice a month so dont worry about it." The reason I brought it up to her cuz my mum asked me how often I go and we went to the doctors & she had said that. A year ago I told my OBGYN about it & she said oh that is normal when you start your period, I am thinking she ignored me saying only twice a month.
I have gone to my OBGYN for the pain in my left ovary area & my new OBGYN could not figure it out & he said that if it continues to hurt than, "we need to do surgery to look around, and see what is wrong." I have never had major surgery & I dont think I could ever do that!! Good thing (maybe) about a month ago something in my left ovary popped (?) and i had a warm fuzzy feeling and it kinda tingled and then i was fine. Till a couple of days ago, actually should say a week ago.
I dont know what would happen if I go to the ER, my family thinks you should power thru pain & after all the times of going to my OBGYN and doing tests & they not finding anything & turning around & having to pay over 200$ from it all. I kinda do not wanna go to doctor till its all paided off.
Honestly pain dosent drive me crazy I am use to pain, its my bf that is freaking him out. He use to be an EMT and he keeps telling me I need to go. Last night we hung out & I was in so much pain he was about to pack my stuff up & take me to the ER but I HATE ERs!!!! But if this pain continues I might call out of work tomorrow & go in to c a doctor.
I have never in my lifetime heard of this being considered normal for anyone. My primary doctor said "It is normal for your body to only poo twice a month so dont worry about it."
It would not be major surgery. It would most likely be done as a scope procedure that in most cases is done as outpatient surgery not even requiring full sedation. Most people don't like surgery. Most people don't want to go to the ER. But what you like and don't like is truly irrelevant when it comes to your health. You need to see a doctor. A different one obviously. And don't just let them tell you that what you're experiencing is normal. Your body is telling you otherwise and clearly your boyfriend realizes it too. Delaying it is like walking out onto an iced over pond, seeing a small crack but deciding to ignore it until it gets bigger...but then suddenly it gets bigger and you fall through. Odd comparison I know, but that's what I think of.he said that if it continues to hurt than, "we need to do surgery to look around, and see what is wrong." I have never had major surgery & I dont think I could ever do that!!
My primary doctor told me that I was to complicated for her & that I need to see an OBGYN. (This year found out I was sensitive to estrogen in birth control pills, but took them 5 years to figure it out). So honestly my PD is horrible at her job & she has & always will say it.
That is major surgery for me. If they cant find what is wrong through an ultrasound, which they have done & found nothing, than what are they expect to find if they open me up? I had posted something about this on another forum and someone said it could be a nerve thing, the left ovary hurting that is.
I am not ignoring it but I just cant do it till sometime next week due to 1) working all 3 jobs this week & 2) no money for copay cuz of bills for doctor appointments. Plus trying to find a doctor that takes my insurance & I am comfy with is harder than it sounds cuz there is not a lot of doctors near me. :-/
