    Question Broken Collar Bone?

My boyfriend fell off a picnic table... long story.. I had to take him to the E.R because he was in so much pain. They said his collar bone wasnt broken he just strained his tapezoid muscle and had a hemotobin (?) on his muscle... something about blood building up.. i dont know.. but it is really hurting him.. he cant move it and when he does, it pops! Should he have his family doctor look at the x-rays to see if they missed something? Should his shoulder be popping like that? I am totally clueless and he is hurting really bad! Any Suggestions?

Sometimes a crack in the bone won't show up right away on the xray. He should go in again, it only for peace of mind
