I used to drink a lot of cold drinks. Now I am allergic to these kinds of drinks. The last three I started to cough a lot. My mum has brought me to the hospital and it has been diagnosed that I have got bronchitis and I have been put on medication. I take (link snipped)to treat my bronchitis. Is it a dangerous illness?? How can we prevent from getting this illness??

Years ago I used to get bronchitis quite a bit during the season changes. I would experience high fever, headaches, couching, sore throat, my chest hurting and most of the time even loose my voice. It can be a very miserable illness. Over the last couple of years I've been lucky enough not to develop it again. I have heard quite a bit that bronchitis can develop into pneumonia. If I'm not mistaken it is contagious and is generally treated with antibiotics.
