Arthritis Question
Hi- I'm new here but have had arthritis for the last 6 years. I got a blood test the first year I had it and got a positive RA factor. Then I went to the rhuematologist and he said I probably got it from a virus in my classroom called "the 5th's disease" that causes joint pain in adults. Well, since then I've been back to the Rhuematologist many times and he says that it's not RA because it travels around my body.
I'll have pain in my hand, then one pinky finger, then my shoulder, then one of my hips, then the balls of one of my feet. It always moves and is very painful. I have no explanation and no one takes me seriously. Anyone else have this problem??
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Possible it could be Fibromyalgia? Read up on the symptoms and discuss the possiblity with your doctor.
I was diagnosed with it about 6 years ago. I had gone to the doctor for years complaining with all kinds of pain in my legs, hips etc. Finally I went to the Rhuematologist thinking I had Arthritis or Cancer when the pain in my hips had gotten so bad I could barely walk.
