I'm confused, men seem to be randomly writing messages and maybe using women's name to do so on their id? Are men welcome here?

I haven't had any problems, but I haven't caused any either.

Sometimes the questions are such that it's possibly best a man respond.
I saw a post yesterday that I felt I had to comment.

I apologize if we aren't welcome, but I'd think it was a huge mistake on the site's part. After I submit this I'm going to check my profile to make sure it does identify me as male.

i know sarcasm when i read it..reminds me of the genie who gave a man 2 wishes..he said build me a bridge from california to hawaii so i can drive there any time i like since i am afraid to fly..the genie said that is impossible, even for a genie to do, make another wish..the man said i would like to "understand the mind of a women"..the genie replied, "would you like that bridge with 2 lanes or 4?"

It says on the rules explicitly that both genders are welcome. Which is good.

As for me, I'm a guy, signed up for my girlfriend about a problem, then saw a glaring ignorance of male thought processes, so I thought I could help out, so I started posting.

I feel the opinion of a man is surely welcomed, but if the man is passing himself of as a woman that is wrong. For the woman who posts and does not wish the opinion of the man then skip over his opinion, but my question is: how are we ever able to understand each other if we donīt allow the others opinion? After all this is like anonymous counseling!

So for me, I welcome menīs opinions to my questions!
