ugh, last week i fractured my tailbone being drunk and ******. now i feel awful having to sit at my desk all day... i also stopped smoking, so i'm extra annoyed with people. i feel like i'm getting a cold, but it's probably from not smoking.

    so i don't feel well

i spent all weekend in bed or on the couch dozing from my pain meds and i wish i were there now! i woke up at 1 am b/c my pain meds wore off...

my husband has been great in taking care of me, bringing me food and ice while in bed but i feel bad cause i can't do the dishes or any other chores at the moment. i tried to clean up after dinner last night and he just told me to lay down, and that he would do it. well he didn't do it last night so hopefully it'll get done today...

thanks to anyone who reads this, i just need to complain a little!

Eek broken tail bone. I know that doesn't feel to good. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Good luck on the stopping smoking. I know it's hard in the beginning. The lady I work with stopped about six months ago and I watched her go through the cravings, moods etc. You'll make it and then you'll feel much better for it.

Sorry about your tailbone. I've never done more than bruise mine, but my mom did break hers. Ugh. But don't feel bad about not being able to do things, take this time to relax. I know the pain isn't helping you relax, but try. Remind your hubby about the chores, but let it go. You shouldn't do them and we as women are too pig headed to relinquish the household duties, but for something like this, YOU NEED TO LET SOMEONE ELSE DO IT. You need to heal.
Congrats on the quitting smoking. I did it 10 months ago. It's rough going at first, but keep at it. It is worth it, you will feel better about it once it is totally out of your system. Keep up the good work dear...
If you want me to remember it, tattoo it backwards on my forhead... I might see it someday...

thanks for the encouragement. its getting better with the not smoking. every time i think that i want a cig, i remember how i'm not a smoker anymore, so what would be the point? its hard also b/c i am eating more candy bars! i know i'm substituting a sugar rush for the nicotine rush, but i will get through it...hopefully!

the doc gave me some really good pain meds, so that is helping me get through each day. i'm also going to go for a MRI based on the doc's advice. don't know how much good it'll do, but i guess it'll make sure that i don't have too much damage.

    thanks again ladies!
