    Default lump in armpit

    For some time now I've had a painful lump in my armpit that only pops up when it's time for my period. My gyne looked at it and said it was my lyph nodes. She says it may need cut out but I'll have to go to a dermatologist. Anyone ever have this and what did they do to treat it?

    Yes, I've had this happen a bunch of times. I hate those darn lymph nodes!! I have one on my stomach that flares up too. I really hate that one during bikini season. Mine will pop up if I get sick or get any kind of scratch. And they are painful under the arm too. There's nothing you can do except just leave it alone and wait for it to go away. From experience, I will tell you...don't mess with it or try to pop it. Ouch!
