My fiance does this almost all the time, I've come to recognize it when he doesn't listen to me and he's off staring into space. He tells me that it helps him calm his anxious mind because he has OCD and anxiety problems. But I was wondering, does this really help? Does anyone here meditate to relieve stress from a day? If it does please let me know. My mind is a constant buzz, there's always something going on inside and I can't really get it to calm down. I mean, it takes me almost an hour to go to sleep from the time I lay down (I've documented it before).
