    Default Ears hurt when landing on a plane! Help!

    Hello im going away for my 21st in may!
    But am dreading the landing as i know every other time i have had terrible pain that just brings me to tears. Then after the flight i will have strange hearing for 2-3 days. Sometimes leading to an ear ache!
    Being my 21st i really would like to enjoy this holiday! its my first one without my parents! :S Scary! :P But will be going with my partner!

    I have tryed almost everything but wondered if anyone else suffered this and had any tips to dealing with it?

    Please help!

    Try taking a decongestant an hour before the flight. Sudefed 12 hour works wonders. Chew gum and force yourself to yawn during the flight. And happy B-day Hope it helps...
    If you want me to remember it, tattoo it backwards on my forhead... I might see it someday...
