I, Im new here and have a question. I have been told I have a kidney insection and have been put on an anitbiotic. It hasn't worked so far and it's been 2.5 weeks. Ahs anyone else had kidney infection and what were your symptons? I have had kidney pain and pain around my abdomen. No fever or nothing. Just wondering what i can expect or get others symptoms to coompair.
    Thanks for listening

Angel, do you drink alcohol? This would slow down the antibiotics and also is an effect of pain if too much, that can of course depend on your body as to what is to much.

I think, you need to go back to your Doctor and tell him/her what you are feeling and experiencing, the dosage may also be to low, or you may need further tests.

Stress can delay recovery as well, and smoking.

Stay on top of this...Years ago I had Nephritis of the Blood Stream where the bacteria attacks the fluids in your body so don't fool around with it....Take Care, Caroline
