Default A little frightened

I just got the results of my blood workup I had today and everything was ok except my thyroid level, this was the TSH level, it is really low and from the research that could indicate a hyperthyroid condition but I don't have the symptoms of hyperthyroidism. My Dr did say he wants to run some other test, and I am assuming it is the other thyroid test a T4 and T3. I feel fine, a little tired but I work night shift so that is normal for me. My Dr said would call me tomorrow or as soon as the other results come in. I am not going to say much to hubby, he will worry and one of us worrying is enough, though until I get the other result, I should not worry. From my research it seems that having hyperthyroidism is worse than hypothyroidism. Or maybe both are bad. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

I don't know anything about the illness, but I'd say if you're worried and need comforting, then that's exactly what your husband should be for. It's his time to look after you, you don't need to preserve his feelings.

Let him know, and you won't feel so alone about it all. Chances are everything will be fine and you'll laugh about it anyway, but for now you need him.

I totally agree with ANON...

Too many times we act as a "Mother" take it all on our shoulders as not to "worry" someone else.

You are human as well and any form of fear, should be shared not held inside.
