Sometimes your last period can drain alot of iron out of you without your knowledge, of course as much as you hate them, you could go crazy on eating spinach, broccoli, asparagus, all that yummy green stuff it's only 7pm there, so you could start now.....

Or of course, there are those little iron tablets, which is easier to swallow ...

But anything that is too low needs to come back up again, now that belongs on a different section as well of this forum......

    Ahahahahhahaaaa! It does indeed.

Its weird though, as i love my greens and eat lots and lots of them. There is a family history of anemia, and i had it when i was 15 - the main cause being very heavy periods. But, since being on the pill they become lighter (yay)

What i dont understand is how can you have low levels of iron but not actually be anemic?? Like, my doctor rang and said "youve incredibly low levels of iron but you arent anemic" that makes no sense to me, although it doesnt take a lot xxx

Mmm... Well they say "history repeats itself" and i have little things that have been passed down from generations fortunately in today's society, we don't have to put up with them and can have them removed, ie) varicous veins, removed, gone.

But, i am always of the opinion that one Doctor sometimes is not enough when your intuition is telling you otherwise. Maybe you need a second opinion.

Anemic is also pale is it not? Lack of energy? Do you suffer from those as well?

I hated greens now i love everything green funny about that...

Do you eat meat? At least 3 times a week? I think Mushrooms also have iron, not sure.

Main thing is to take care of yourself and if you feel down, then get another opinion.

I posted here before somewhere that i read a Woman's Weekly where Kylie Minogue stated that she was informed that she did not have breast cancer from her first Doctor but gut feeling told her she did, so she seeked a second opinion and well, she did.

    Take care xx back...

    NO I'M NOT BI! ? No i don't think so....lol..
