Every so often, I get hard bumps on my thumb and pointer finger. They are totally numb, I can't even feel it if someone pokes me with a needle. Then, the bumps start to peel, and from the tip of the finger, to about the middle, skin constantly peels off, it just doesn't want to heal. It lasts like this for about 6-10 weeks, and then is fine for a couple months and starts the cycle all over again. Any ideas?
