has anyone here seen the movie Seven Pounds w/ Will Smith? i saw it and i loved it. it really reached out and tugged at the emotional strings!! let me know what ya'll think.

another will smith movie....lol. seems like every move he does is a good movie. either he picks some good scripts, or has an excellent agent.
my brother in law calls him the golden boy as every movie will smith does does very well.
and i agree.
i havent seen it yet but would like to. i heard it was good.

I thought the film was excellent. I loved the way that you kinda did but didn't know what was going on until the end. It's amazing to me how Will Smith went from this clean rapper from Philly - to the Fresh Prince of Belair - to now this outstanding actor. He also seems to get more handsome the older he gets... or maybe that's the richer he gets... either way he was very hot in this movie. For anyone who hasn't seen it yet - what are you waiting for? It's a tear jerker though, so pack tissues!

Hi Super - if we tell you the plot it will just ruin it for you. It is really a unique movie that will hold your attention, make you cry, and then surprise you with a great ending. I saw it at the movie and have watched it again on DVD. ITs one of those movies that you watch the second time just to say, "That's why he did this or that's the reason that happened. I'm no critic but I watch a lot of movies. Go ahead and get it - you won't regret it. But, you must watch it when you can give your full attention to the movie. If you walk away or miss a chunk - you'll be lost.

I don't know if you ever saw this movie (can't think of the name for the life of me). But it starts out with this guy driving a rich lady in a limo and they get stuck in a terrible rain storm and have to rent a cheezy motel. They end up there with several others also there because of storm - a couple with a son, a lady dressed provacatively, troubled newlyweds, and a police officer who was transporting a convict. One by one the people end up murdered - and no one knows who is doing the killing. Finally, everyone is dead but the boy and the provactavely dressed woman. Then, we (the audience) finds out that all of this has been going on inside the head of a insane murderer with multiple personalities and the murders were the personalities being killed off one by one while he was under hypnosis to kill off the one that was causing him to murder people. So, he was healed or so we thought. At the end, they are transporting him and scene goes back to inside his head and the provactavily dressed woman is working in an orange grove and now has on a long, summer dress and is really happy. Then the boy, comes out of nowhere and she's so happy to see him, then he kills her too. Then, there's a brief flashback to the murders earlier in the movie that shows how the boy killed each and every person. Then, it goes back again to the present and every other personality was killed but the boy which was the actual murderer and the insane murderer then kills the two people who are transporting him and escapes.

Well, its that type of movie. Completely different plot - no one is being murdered. But, it holds you and surprises you like that. By the way, if anyone has seen the movie I described above, what's the name of it? But everyone enjoys different types of movies - I like the kind that stimilates mentally as well as entertains me. If the one I described above sounds interesting... you'll love Seven Pounds!

Yes, that's the one - Identity - thanks! Sounds like we have similar taste in movies. So, have you rented Seven Pounds yet? If not, what are you waiting for - I wanna hear whar you think of it.
