    Question BV, UTI's and baths

Here is my story and I will follow with my question.

Starting in May of 08 I found out I had BV, it was mentally and physically irritating. I went to my doctor and got meds for it, and it went away. Then, in August 08 it came back. I got another prescription and it seemed to go away for a short while, but came back again. I'm pretty sure i'm doing something to reinfect myself.

I took something for the BV again, but just a few days ago I got a UTI (went to the doctor, did a urine culture etc). I had one other UTI about 2 years ago as well.

I have done hours of research on the web and also reading in this forum and i'm glad (and yet sorry) to hear that i'm not the only one.

Anyways, my question is actually fairly simple. I know using scented soaps and taking bubble baths is not good because it can reinfect BV. However, I love taking baths, especially to rid myself of stress and aches. I know you can use Apple Cider Vinegar, but it smells something awful to me. Is there anything else I can bath in that isn't harmful to my vaginal health. Also, is there anything I can bath in that could sooth UTI while i'm being treated for it.

    Thanks in advance.

Apple cider vinegar works wonders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course it does not smell the best when using it and it drys your vagina for the time being, but when its time to have sex it makes a big difference. Gives the vagina a little extra moistness!!!!!!!!
