Yes, you could still have the cyst. I had 1 on my ovary as well. It was removed, but they were already in there doing a laparoscopy for endometriosis. Plz go back to your doc and demand more of an answer than aspirin. It could burst and cause all sorts of problems. Take care!
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
I have been told that I either have cysts on my ovaries or a possibility of endometrisis. They didn't seem to worried about either but put me on birth control pills. (yasmin)
They explained that cysts are formed on the ovaries sometimes regularly when a woman ovulates. These cysts can sometimes burst, releasing some fluid that can irritate and cause pain. (I had originally gone in because of severe pain during intercourse) So their solution of the birthcontrol pill is that it will stop me from ovulating which will stop the cysts from forming...they also said that the pill is often their first method of treatment for endometrisis aswell...I guess if you don't ovulate then the blood or uteris cells can't attach themselves to places they shouldn't be and won't have a chance....they also mentioned that they may stop me form having my period alltogether by telling me not to take the week break on the pills...to just continue into the next month cycle...which sounds kinda wrong to me...I mean a period is a natural thing...is it healthy to stop it?
I don't know if this helps you at all but it is an option to suggest if your own doc isn't being proactive enough.
