Unhappy Breast Tenderness and Unsure why

My breasts have been tender/sore for over 2 weeks, maybe even over 3 weeks. I just know that it's been a long time and it doesn't seem normal. I can't determine from my menstural cycle whether I'm possibly pregnant or not because my last shot for depo was in March 2008 and I have not had a cycle since I started Depo (for the second time) back in Aug/Sept of 2006. I did take a pregnancy test, it came back negative, but I'm still uncertain. I had the doc look at my breasts-there was nothing abnormal by means of cancer or cycts, so that's ruled out. I'm starting to wonder what is up with my body but yet no one seems to have solid answers for me. I've been told that there's a possibility that it's my 'hormones' balancing back out from having been on birth control (but tender breasts for 3 weeks still seems abnormal!). My mother tells me that she has always had low levels of estrogren because with all of her pregnancies it wouldn't show up until she was into her third month!! No one likes waiting but I feel like that's all I have is wait time. I'm at a loss and don't know what else to do......feeling helpless.

So I guess everyone is as helpless with answers as I am........I hate this waiting game. I'm still tender and had labs drawn to see what my levels are for estrogen, testosterone and pregestine (or progesterone-not sure which) and should have results in a week, plus I have an OB appt in about 2 weeks and still-everything is up in the air when it comes to answers.

Hope everything goes well! I mean, my breasts have been showing slight discharge in the shower every night for three weeks, and I have never taken BC and had four hpts tell me I'm negative for pregnancy all last month, so yeah ... I kinda need to figure out what my issue is too. And bloating, lots of bloating. But hope you find your answers! And here's to hoping I find mine sometime next week! [seeing a doctor hopefully when I go home, and by then my period should be done, and I should be ready for check up :P]
