hi. I just had a question. my dr told me I had a slight case of BV again near the end of october, so i took the flagyl for 7 days. the symptoms didnt seem to change much at all and i still had all the same problems. towards my period this month it was burning and still had the symptoms, so i told my dr. he gave me flagyl with a smaller dose for 10 days.
my question is, would it be wise to take the flagyl again this soon, when it did not seem to work the first time? (i finished that first dose like 2-3 weeks ago, and now i would start another dose..)
also, i already took 1 pill last night but then i wasn't sure if i should continue. is it alright if i stopped the pills now, or should i continue since i already took 1?

oh also i wondered if i should wait till i get through this period to see if it can go back to normal, since i did finish the first prescription a few weeks ago. my dr said it might reset itself after my period. i didnt think i could wait so i called him for another dose, but now im beginning to think i should have waited. any thoughts?? is it ok to stop the treatment after the 1 pill last night? i kinda regret taking it again (and it was jsut the first day of my period starting). thanks.
