i have had quite a few uriniary tract infections, whenever i go to the doctor they would give me antibiotics and everthing would be fine for a while. however, lately i realize when ever i hold back a pee i would bleed, like when i'm out and i wanna use the bathroom i usually hold back until i get home or something, but when i do that i bleed, i am trying my best not to hold back where ever i am.
my friend once told me that she cant hold back her pee because since she had an abortion that would put strain in her womb and she might not be able to have kids. i have NOT had an abortion but is it possible for me to have this same problem? since i constantly have problems with urinary tract infections should i be worried? the bleeding kinda scares me too...

Is the blood coming out where the pee comes out or is it coming from the larger vaginal opening? If the blood is coming from the same small hole as the pee, then you most likely still have a bladder infection. Bladder infections are known to cause bleeding. You may not have gotten it cleared up. I would go back and get tested again.

Drink lots of cranberry juice every day because the acid in the juice kills the bacteria which causes UTIs. Also be sure to always wash anything that comes in contact with your vaginal area and keep the vaginal area clean too. Eat healthy, drink lots of whater, and try to keep your stress down. Those things will all help.
